wedding full of sins

Assalamualaikum and hai to all, today im gonna share the lecture from Mufti Menk where i watched from the youtube. So, this is the lecture that i could share.

"i recalled a wedding without a joke where the nikah was done and they had the walimah and the function was full of sins. may Allah forgive us.

Those who have functions of sins when it come to their nikah, they pay for it somewhere down their lives. Unless they have gain the taubah. Sometimes people said, "I had the wrong function when I was getting married. we had music, we had intermingling, we had dances, etc etc, some of them had alcohol".

they say, "now I'm worried", I said, "there's a way out. It' s never too late". Eventhough your married was 30 years back 40 years back, some people are paying in the form of their children disobeying them because the day they tie the knot, they disobeyed Allah. So they said, why is my child so disobedient? and I go back and said, "brother, the day you got married, was there big ball where people dancing and Allah forgotten?

then they said, "what do I do? now my children are forgetting me, they don't want to know me"

"but brother you are wrong. the day you were getting married if you did it correctly, you listen to Allah, Allah will give you a children who listen to you. Simple!!"

So what is the solution? Allah already give the solution.
"O Allah, when I got married, I did it wrong. Forgive me ya Allah. Ya Allah grant me forgiveness and open my doors."

and Allah says "my worshiper,my creature, I love you so much. at least, now you realized what you did was wrong. I forgive you."

SubhanAllah.

we should understand that, Allah's mercy is greater than my sins. definitely, Allah's mercy is greater than any sins. SubhanAllah. If only person dies in the condition of syirik, it should be worried. Otherwise we have a Rabb, we have a Lord, which most forgiving. for as long we try, we try. we should serious in getting the forgiveness from Allah. that is why, in getting the forgiveness, we do the taubah. not just wait for the forgiveness without do any action. it's only tempering the wroth of Allah. so, we do our part, Allah will give His mercy. insyaAllah. we will forgiven.

so, it can conclude that, whatever it is. whatever mistakes that we have done. we should ask Allah for the forgiveness. don't be too arrogant. it's true that Allah will give a mercy to His creature, but we should do something, do an action so that Allah give His mercy which is Taubah
